An Opportunity to Give Back
The Junction City High School Class of 1999 wishes to contribute to the surrounding Junction City/Geary County community with the goal of making a positive impact on those who are in need of assistance. The Millenium Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization (registered with the State of Kansas), managed by JCHS '99 Alumni, which speaks on behalf of the collective members of the Class of 1999. The Foundation helps provide a financial base to support Alumni activities, such as reunions, but chiefly serves as a charitable organization for the Junction City community by managing contributions to persons or organizations as agreed upon by a Class consensus.
Funds and resources are managed responsibly and according to best-practice procedures. Any individual or group may contribute funds at any time. We are currently working toward application for 501(c)(3) tax exempt approval from the IRS by the end of the 2009 calendar year, thereby making any contributions tax deductible.
